Database marketing intern
DCP is looking for a self-motivated, database marketing savvy intern to help develop and execute its marketing and communications efforts.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the primary function of the Marketing Intern is to assist in the overall marketing success of the company.
The majority of efforts will be focused on database mining work for our marketing automation systems. In addition to learning and gaining marketing experience, the selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to be exposed to many facets of DCP's business operations.
Summer internship to begin in June. Required hours per week: 10-15 hours minimum.
Length of internship: ~3 months minimum (flexibility on vacation time(s) during the summer months).
For college credits position.
- Undergraduate or Graduate Student majoring in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- Experience coordinating projects
- Familiar with email marketing practices
- Ability to remain flexible, open-minded & handle changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Passion for marketing/lead generation/database management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, with an emphasis in Excel
